Music Theory Class
Today in theory class, our scores on the assessment and hw was given. I got 10 for my assessment but a ‘C’ on my hw. I must to learn more about scales, chords and their inversions. Then, Mr. Herry taught us about the key signatures for each scale: major and minor and their related scales. I learned that major and minor key signatures are related. For next lesson, I must learn about this and scales because there may be a test on Tuesday.
Music Class (Piano)
In piano practical class, we practice our hearing skill by writing down the notes we hear which is played by Mr. Herry. The melody contain of 4 bars. We were asked to hear 3 melodies and write it down in our music books. Then, we played a minor harmonic scale. I played the B minor harmonic scale with 2 octaves in one way and another 2 octaves contrary and then back. I did some mistakes so I must practice it at home. For next lesson, I must learn this scale and memorize my song because we will have a practical exam where we must to memorize our own song.
